Industrial Training

MUT believes in the need for its students to be a part of the real world of business and community. Empowering the campus community by creating opportunities for it to connect with the business circle and society, in general, is seen as crucial to providing an entrepreneurial perspective to the University’s core areas which are education, research and Innovation.

Industrial training coordination

Students from Hospitality and Tourism engage in attachment opportunities at restaurants, hotels, tour companies, travel agencies, government parastatals dealing with hospitality and tourism airlines, airports among many other hospitality and tourism firms.

Industrial training guide

The industrial training guide is provided for by the university industrial attachment coordinator. Students get a health cover for the attachment period, an attachment logbook and an introduction letter.

About industrial training

Industrial training is conducted by students pursuing diploma and degree programs for a period of three months. Students are expected to find relevant places of attachment where they will gain practical experience in their respective areas of study.
